Nuestra Palabra, Tony Diaz's popular Latino Writers Forum is ongoing, one Wednesday out of each month, and is quite possibly Houston's most energetic literary phenomenon. Check their informative website for updates, info on classes, writer appearances, etc.

Brazos Books, 2421 Bissonnet, has a number of author appearances upcoming, featuring real authors you can actually meet (but don't touch them).

Inprint Inc. brings important fiction writers and poets to their annual reading series and does a lot more in supporting the Houston writing community. Check out their cool website and consider taking a workshop from their stable of world-class authors.
